Tim Kane

Tim Kane brings extensive expertise and passion to property management. With over 10 years of experience, Tim combines business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics and tenant needs. Under his leadership, Canopy Property Services has become a trusted partner for property owners.

Known for integrity, a strong work ethic, and community commitment, Tim approaches every interaction with empathy and a desire to make a positive impact. Tim holds a degree in landscape architecture from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, and pursues ongoing professional development.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with family and friends, and partaking in Tahoe’s activities like golf, boating, and fishing.

Carolyn Kane

Meet Carolyn Kane, your trusted real estate broker in Reno-Tahoe. Licensed in Nevada, Carolyn specializes in luxury properties with a particular focus in Incline Village and the surrounding areas of Lake Tahoe.

With over 15 years of marketing experience and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Boston University, Carolyn’s extensive background gives her clients a competitive edge. Carolyn excels at understanding her clients' needs and prioritizes building lasting relationships through high-touch customer service to help clients achieve their real estate dreams.

Founding Partner

Randy Fleisher

Before founding Hamilton Realty Finance in September 2016, Randy served as Managing Director of the Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Dallas Debt & Equity platform. He previously founded Quadrant Realty Finance (QRF), acquired by JLL in June 2013, where he facilitated over $1.5 billion in debt and equity financings since 2010. Randy's extensive career also includes roles as Managing Director at CBRE and as a real estate and commercial attorney at Monk Goodwin in Winnipeg, Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Manitoba, a Master of Science in Real Estate & Finance from the University of North Texas, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Investment, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin.

Head of Accounting

Jackie Dontcho

With over 40 years of experience in accounting and a sharp eye for detail, Jackie Dontcho leads the financial operations at Canopy Property Services as Head of Accounting. She brings a disciplined, organized approach to managing the company’s finances, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and long-term financial health.

Before transitioning into property management, Jackie held key roles in financial aid compliance at Sierra Nevada College and accounting for Tahoe Safe Alliance. Her extensive background across both educational and nonprofit sectors has honed her expertise and deepened her commitment to responsible stewardship.

Known for her natural ability with numbers and steady leadership, Jackie is a vital part of the Canopy team. Outside of work, she enjoys making puzzles, knitting, crocheting, and diving into true crime novels. Above all, she finds joy in spending meaningful time with her grandchild.

Office Manager

Lisa Richards

Lisa brings over 10 years of experience in office management, business operations, and community engagement. Her career began at Taco Bell Corporate in Irvine, CA, where she played a key role in launching the Franchise Finance College. This initiative became a vital resource for franchisees nationwide. Her leadership earned her the CFO’s prestigious Leadership Award.

After several years working in education and nonprofit literacy programs, Lisa returned to the private sector as Business Manager for a multi-location restaurant group. There, she led finance, HR, compliance, and operations while fostering partnerships with local organizations to strengthen community ties.

At Canopy Property Services, Lisa brings her expertise in administrative management and passion for operational excellence to ensure smooth, efficient operations across departments. 

Community Association Manager

Sarah McKimmy

Originally from Michigan, Sarah McKimmy holds a B.S. in Hospitality Management from Ferris State University and began her career with Hyatt’s Corporate Management Trainee Program. She later served as Director of Food and Beverage Outlets at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, building a strong foundation in operations and service.

Now a certified Community Association Manager (CMCA), Sarah manages a diverse portfolio of associations, ranging from four-unit buildings to communities with over 200 units. She specializes in vendor coordination, financial oversight, reserve project management, and clear communication with boards and homeowners. Known for her proactive, customer-focused approach, Sarah is dedicated to delivering well-run, responsive community management.
