Lisa Richards

Lisa Richards is the Office Manager at Canopy Property Services, bringing over a decade of experience in office administration, business operations, and community engagement.

Lisa began her career at Taco Bell Corporate Headquarters in Irvine, California, within the Franchise Finance Department. There, she played a key role in launching the inaugural Franchise Finance College—an educational program designed to help franchisees master essential aspects of business operations and finance. This initiative grew into an annual, multi-state event and became a cornerstone resource for Taco Bell franchisees. Her close collaboration with the Executive Team earned her the CFO’s prestigious Leadership Award.

While raising her young children, Lisa shifted her focus to primary education, becoming certified in supporting students with reading and writing difficulties. She spent six years working in Special Education in Incline Village, providing individualized support to students in need. In addition, Lisa served as the local Program Coordinator for the nonprofit Read With Me, where she provided training for volunteers and connected them with students for reading support during the school day and in after-school reading clubs.

Lisa later returned to the private sector as Business Manager for a multi-location restaurant group. In this role, she led a wide range of administrative and operational functions, including finance, inventory management, vendor management, HR coordination, regulatory compliance, and customer service.

Her passion for community building continued to guide her work, as she fostered partnerships with organizations such as the IVCBA, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, Incline Education Fund, and the Tahoe Film Festival—helping to elevate local initiatives and deepen the restaurant group’s community presence.

Lisa is deeply committed to operational excellence, team collaboration, and making a meaningful impact, both in the workplace and the broader community.
